From the snow-capped peaks to the lush landscapes and wide range of wildlife, no matter what time of year you choose to adventure into Rocky Mountain National Park, you will always be treated with a scenic and beautiful experience, unlike anything else in this world.

RMNP wouldn't be the way that it is without the year-round hard work and dedication put in by the National Park Service, who are key in preserving, maintaining, and managing national parks all around the country. In celebration of the National Park Service turning 100 years old in 2016, they are giving back to park visitors by offering 16 fee free days in '16.

The entrance fee at Rocky Mountain National Park will be waived to the public on the following dates in 2016:

  • January 18         Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • April 16-24          National Park Week
  • August 25-28      National Park Service Birthday
  • September 24     National Public Lands Day
  • November 11      Veteran's Day

It is normally $20 per vehicle for a day pass, a 7-day consecutive pass is $30, or an annual pass is available for $50. RMNP is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
