5 Establishments That Should Take the Bass Pro Space in Loveland

As announced last week, Bass Pro Shops has decided that Loveland isn't in their future and have abandoned plans to construct a new location right next to the Promenade Shops at Centerra. 

The question is...with such a sizable plot of land available for use in a prime location, what else could occupy the space? Well we are here to give some ideas as we help fill an empty location!

1.) LITTLE MAN ICE CREAM

Little Man Ice Cream had plans on moving into downtown Fort Collins but those ideas were scrapped because of the cities sign code. Yup...the big bottle is what stopped them from building in FoCo. So what was Fort Collins loss could be Loveland's gain and they don't have to worry about the sign code! Oh...the ice cream? AWESOME. So good that the line stretches forever because of the love people have for it.

2.) DAVE AND BUSTERS

I know we have the Summit right down the road which is also a great family entertainment location. But Dave and Busters is an institution known by both kids and adults! Plus I still have some prize points I need to redeem from my last stop at D&B's. Not sure if driving to Denver is my best choice to trade in my 2000 points for a Koosh ball.

3.) CHEESECAKE FACTORY

There are RUMORS that this could become part of the new Foothills Mall in Fort Collins but nothing is guaranteed. So if our dreams don't come true, why not a prime location right off of Interstate 25?

4.) CABELAS 

Loveland isn't good enough for Loveland? Fine. We'll just welcome in their biggest competition. I know there is one not too far down the road off of 25. But let me ask you. How often do you skip shopping there because of the drive? That's what I thought.

5.) MARGARITAVILLE RESTAURANT

This would be near the top of the list for me. Imagine having our own "5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar" here in Northern Colorado? What a perfect way to wrap up a work week with the sounds of Jimmy Buffet in the air.
