Eighth Attack on Women Being Investigated by Fort Collins Police [PHOTO]

On Friday night, the Fort Collins Police responded to two non-sexual attacks on women that may be connected to several other assaults that have been reported over the past few weeks. On Friday, a woman who was jogging was physically assaulted by a man in the area of the 3000 block of West Elizabeth Street. Twenty minutes later, FCPD responded to another report of a woman being attacked less than 2 miles away in the area of City Park Avenue and Baystone Drive. According to the Coloradoan, both attacks were perpetrated by a man matching the same description from a series of attacks targeting women in recent months in the area. According to a statement by Officer Matthew Johnson, both victims were alone when approached and neither sustained serious injuries.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, age 30 to 35, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short hair, medium to heavy build. He may be driving a white, older-model, four-door SUV.
