Loveland police tried to make a traffic stop on Thursday night (June 8, 2017) on the west side of town. That traffic stop led to a shooting, leaving one person dead.

There aren’t many details as of yet, but Loveland Police officers were involved in a shooting on Thursday night (June 8, 2017).  It sounds as though officers were trying to pull a car over for a traffic stop. That car ended up crashing. As officers approached the crashed car, someone from inside the car shot at the officers and they fired back. That person was struck and later died.

The incident happened on Namaqua Drive.
