I know many people who like to relax with a good book and a glass of wine, but what if you cold do that right in the book store? According to the LA Times, the national book retailer, Barnes & Noble is considering selling beer and wine in their stores. They already have cafes in their stores, where they sell coffee and snacks. However, with business slipping, they believe that adding alcohol to their menu will stimulate traffic to their stores. They are testing out their plan in New Hartford New York, where Barnes & Noble has applied for a beer and wine license from the state.

It's not a bad plan, adding alcoholic beverages has helped to stimulate other businesses in the past, and most people like a drink with their literature.... Heck, it helped me get through college. People who are against it, are afraid that the addition of alcohol will change the vibe, but it's not like they are going to start pumping EDM music.
