BREAKING – Denver Thief Uses Keys from Stolen Car to Enter Home

Denver Police say 2 men entered the home of a man whose car had been stolen just a few days before.

Police say the break-in occurred just before 5 a.m. Tuesday at the house on South Depew Street, which is near West Yale Avenue and South Sheridan Boulevard.

The homeowner was able to detain one of the men after confronting them. The was not armed; it's unknown, however, whether the escaped suspect is armed.

Police say the resident's black Yukon was stolen while idling in front of the home on Friday, January 22.
