BREAKING NEWS: Arrest Made in Larimer County Assault on Woman

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has announced they have arrested a man in connection to the assault on a woman riding her bike north of Fort Collins.

As the Fort Collins Coloradoan reported, Jose Angel Alderete-Gomez, 27, has been arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault in connection to reported Oct. 8 attack of a woman who was riding her bike just north of Fort Collins.

The suspect is being held in the Larimer County jail on $450,000 bond for this case in addition to an unrelated domestic violence case out of Fort Collins.

Authorities can not confirm at this time this individual is connected to the other string of assaults on women across Fort Collins lately as they are still investigating the matter.
