The man who voiced legendary cartoon characters including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, and Sylvester the Cat, has died.

Joe Alaskey, who voiced other Looney Toons characters including Marvin the Martian and Foghorn Leghorn, was 63. His family announced the news of his death Wednesday evening.

Alaskey was the successor of voice actor Mel Blanc at Warner Brothers and voiced many of his famous characters from 1990 to 1995. He also voiced non-Warner Brothers characters like Grandpa Pickles on Rugrats and was most recently featured on Investigation Discovery's Murder Comes to Town.
