Car Abandoned and Left on Blocks in Fort Collins King Soopers Lot

My wife and I were shopping at King Soopers at Taft & Elizabeth in Fort Collins over the weekend and were surprised by what we found in the parking lot. Someone abandoned a car and all of the wheels have been removed. The tiny spare tire was put on the left front side. The back of the car is up on blocks.

The car is a 2001 black Mitsubishi Eclipse. The temporary license plate is August/04/17 - 047447Y. We really don't know why the car ended up in the parking lot, who left it there, why they left it there, and who took the tires.
