It was mid-August of 2018 when a pregnant Shannan Watts and her two children were reported missing. Nearly three months later, her husband has pleaded guilty to their murders.

A disturbing story, to say the least, is closer to its conclusion. According to the Greeley Tribune, on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Christopher Watts appeared in court where he flipped his pleas from 'not guilty' to 'guilty' in the killing of his wife Shannan, their unborn child and their two girls aged 3 and 4 years old.

According to The Tribune, Watts faces several charges, but as part of the agreement with the D.A. and the family, Watts will not face the death penalty, though he does face many, many years behind bars- perhaps the rest of his life.
