The City of Evans is doing everything they possibly can to get their waste water treatment plant back online but until then it's imperative that residents follow some precautions.

From the City of Evans

Due to flood damage the 1st Avenue Waste Water Treatment Plant is out of service. Effective immediately the areas identified below are to cease all use of waste water system until further notice. This includes but is not limited to the following:

• NO flushing of toilets
• DO NOT DO laundry,
• DO NOT bath,
• DO NOT shower
• NO dishwashing, etc.

The area affected includes:

• All lands in the Evans city limits and unincorporated Weld County east of 29th Avenue and north of the South Platte River.
• Hunter’s Reserve Subdivision north of Park View Drive and east of Mountain View Drive.
• Carriage Estates subdivision in unincorporated Weld County.

Port-o-lets have been posted in various locations for residents to use. Click the link below for the map.

There is also a NO FLUSH order for LaSalle as well. Porta potties have been set up at North Valley middle school and at the Community Center.
