Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brew based out of south Denver (Greenwood Village) has a great deal for college students on April 19, 2016, because it involves a staple of college life.

Ramen. It’s probably absurd, the amount of ramen noodles that get eaten by college students in Colorado every year, let alone the entire country. It’s because, plain and simple, ramen is cheap. Red Robin has come up with a new menu item that takes that college food staple and marries it with America’s favorite-- the burger.

On April 4th, they’ll be introducing to the nation The Red Robin Ramen Burger! The bun for the burger is made up of crispy ramen noodles.  It’s topped with teriyaki and Chiu Chow aioli, some chili-infused shredded cabbage-carrot-onion and garnished with fresh basil. Sounds like an eastern-influenced burger, for sure. It makes me hungry.

They’ll be celebrating their own little holiday for the burger on April 19, 2016, with Red Ramen Day.  On that day, the first 22 college students (with valid student ID) that show up to their restaurants will get the Red Robin Ramen Burger for only 22 cents!  Why 22 cents? That’s about how much a packet of ramen noodles costs, of course!  If you go to CSU, UNC, AIMS, FRCC, or even online, if you have a valid student ID and you beat the crowd-- you score!

Red Robin does want everybody to enjoy Red Ramen Day, however, and will be letting everyone else get the Ramen Burger for $2.22 off. Since it’s Red Robin, you’ll of course get bottomless fries with your burger! Sounds like it will be a super Tuesday!
