A rescued 13-year-old former sled dog has been found after it went missing for 10 days in the woods. According to the Coloradoan, Cleo, who was recently rescued from a Snowmass Village business after the owner was convicted of misdemeanor animal cruelty, when missing on May 22 (2016).

The shelter that Cleo ran away from was finally contacted by a hiker, who spotted the dog near the Fork River. The community had rallied to find Cleo, posting signs offering reward money, they used a pet psychic, drones, and social media.

Cleo is back safe at the shelter with the other dogs that were rescued.
