If you happened to renew your Colorado driver's license or ID online recently, you might want to check and see if your height is correct.

It seems that those that would be affected renewed their license or ID online between Feruary 20th to March 6th. The height was suppose to be filed in inches, however, the conversion seems to not have been done.

Let's use my height for example. I am 5 feet 9 inches tall, which is 69 inches. If I were to have gotten my license renewed in the specific time frame, my height would have shown up as 6 feet 9 inches on my license.

According to the Denver Post, the mistakes are because of an error by Marquis ID Systems, which is the vendor that produces the documents. Marquis is going to be replacing the identification cards at no cost to the state or citizens and will be mailed out no later than March 10th.

If you notice the mistake on your driver's license, you should be getting your corrected license soon.
