Cyclist Injured in Collision With a Vehicle in Fort Collins Monday
What seems to be a weekly thing in Fort Collins, another cyclist has had a run in with a vehicle. The cyclist was injured in the collision.
The accident happened Monday morning in Old Town Fort Collins around 10:30 a.m.
The Coloradoan says that witnesses said the cyclist was headed westbound and had stopped at Mulberry and Whedbee then entered the intersection and was struck by a GMC Jimmy headed eastbound.
The cyclist was not wearing a helmet and was taken to an area hospital with what appeared non-life threatening injuries.
Eastbound Mulberry was closed for about half an hour.
An investigation is on-going.
