Dating Website, Has People Screaming Racism

Different strokes for different folks, and some people have a preference of the race of the person they date. However there's a new dating website that some are calling racist. Wherewhitepeoplemeet.com is getting all kinds of publicity, for being the apparent go to place on the internet for white people to meet. However, some are taking to Twitter to voice their opinion of the site.

But the creator of the website, Sam Russell, is refuting the claims, telling the

Washington Post, “The last thing in the world I am is racist, I dated a black woman once. I helped raise a young black man … I just believe it’s hypocrisy to say, ‘one group can do this, but another can’t.'”

Just because people are attracted one particular race over another, it does not make them raciest. Look at the list of websites available to help someone find that person they are attracted to. There's blackpeoplemeet.com, jdate.com, Tallfriends.com, Glutenfreesingles.com, Stachepassions.com, Farmersonly.com, Christianmingle.com, Asiandating.com... heck there's even a place for Furry's to meet. All I'm saying, is that just because you're not equal opportunity in bed room, it doesn't mean you're not equal opportunity everywhere else.
