Two former employees of a New Jersey day care forced children into a "fight club" and shared video of the brawls on Snapchat.

Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 28, have been charged with fourth-degree child abuse for allegedly organizing the fights, which were modeled after the novel and movie. Kenny is also charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

On at least one day in August at Lightbridge Academy daycare in Cranford, New Jersey, Kenny recorded some of the "fight club" on her phone and sent clips to friends via Snapchat, prosecutors say. She can be heard quoting the novel and film "Fight Club" in the video footage.

An estimated dozen children between ages 4 and 6 are seen in the videos, in which they shove and take swings at each other.

Lightbridge Academy's corporate office said in a statement the school is "shocked and saddened by this isolated incident."

"The actions of these two individuals do not reflect the culture of Lightbridge Academy and what we have stood for more than 18 years," the statement said.

It's unclear how long the former employees worked at Lightbridge Academy and how many children they worked with.
