It's no secret that the Denver Zoo is home to species of all kind – however, it's the newly introduced, lingering Pokémon that will be luring in lots of visitors this weekend.

Beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 22 through closing time on Sunday, July 24, the Denver Zoo will be offering a $5 discount on admission to guests who show their Pokémon Go app at the front gates. Only one discount per device applies. In addition to the lowered admission fee, Poké Stops and a training gym will be found at the Zoo, as well as Pokémon lures happening from 1 to 5 p.m., all throughout the weekend. Players can share their Pokémon findings with other fans on social media using the hashtag #PokemonGoDZ.

Besides seeing all of the animated, digital creatures, the Zoo staff still hopes visitors take the time to appreciate all of the real animals on the premises...because as they say, "Gotta catch 'em all!" This being said, all rules still apply, and users are in no way allowed to enter into any restricted areas, regardless of where a Zubat or Jigglypuff may be hanging out.
