If you have some spare time on Aug. 27 and don't mind getting a little grim, Denver International Airport could use your help.

DIA needs 150 people, age 18 and over, for a training exercise that simulates a mass-casualties plane crash, according to the Denver Post.  Participants will be playing the roles of crash victims and their families.

Volunteers will have to follow safety and security guidelines provided, will be subject to search while on airport property, and should be prepared to spend a significant amount of time outside, according to a news release.

So yeah...kinda dark.  Still, if you're interested in playing a role, email Maureen.Pacheco@flydenver.com or call 303-342-2110.

You must sign up by Aug. 15.
