On Saturday, July 25, as part of Colorado Cares Day, Catholic Charities of Larimer County and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be joining forces to collect much-needed donations for people experiencing homelessness in the Fort Collins and Loveland area.

Items needed include new men’s socks, powder-free latex gloves for food preparation, large bottles of shampoo and conditioner, new or gently used backpacks, men’s and women’s deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, new or gently used winter gloves, new or gently used large or extra large men’s and women’s sweatpants, two-blade (or more) razors and men’s and women’s large and extra large hoodies and sweatshirts.

Donated items can be dropped off at Catholic Charities, 460 Linden Center Drive, Fort Collins; The Loveland Stake Center, 3800 Mountain Lion Drive, Loveland; or The Trilby Chapel, 6521 Carmichael Street, Fort Collins.

Items will be collected at Catholic Charities and the Trilby Chapel from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and at the Loveland Stake Center from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
