The community is invited to get into the Halloween spirit a few days early by bringing your little ghosts, goblins, princesses and superheros to the Fort Collins Marketplace on Saturday, October 24, for an afternoon of festivities and fun!

This family-friendly event is completely free to the public, and offers a safe environment for kids to celebrate Halloween at. Starting at noon and lasting until 2 p.m., participating merchants within the Fort Collins Marketplace will be passing out candy to trick-o-treaters who come by wearing a costume. Plus, they will be also be handing out special offers to the adults that stop by. A store that is participating will have a pumpkin window cling on display for visitors to see.

Children ages 12 and under are welcome to take part in the pumpkin decorating contest, which will be taking place outside of Butter Cream Cupcakery from noon until 1:30 p.m. Judging will begin directly after, with fun prizes to be handed out to the winning designs.

Bring your furry friends along and enter them into the pet costume contest. Registration will be happening from noon to 1:30 inside of Pet City. Judging for this competition will take place at 1:30 p.m. just outside of the store. Winners of the pet costume contest will take home gift cards valued at $100, $50, and $25 to a Fort Collins Marketplace store of their choice.
