As, neat as technology is, it can be terrifying as a parent. We want to make sure our kids are safe. Facts say 1 in 5 kids are subjected to unwarranted sexual solicitation on the Internet.

There is a great  FREE seminar coming up to learn how to talk to your kids about online safety. September 6th from 6:30-8:30 pm. Fort Collins Police Services will present a family-oriented presentation to help start this conversation.

In this seminar families will be divided into three groups for age-appropriate presentations: 8–12 year-olds, 13–18 year-olds, and Adults. Topics include sexual predators, grooming, social networks, cyberbullying, sexting and more.
This free seminar will be held in the Fort Collins Police Services Community Room (2221 S. Timberline Rd). To RSVP, please contact Randine Nelson at 970.416.2384 or rnelson@fcgov.com.

Interested in attending but can't make it in September? We're holding the same presentation on November 1 and December 6, and you can register for either of those at any time.
