Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run in its 23rd Year
The 23rd Annual Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run, presented by Fort Collins Club, has become the most popular family 4 mile run/walk event in Northern Colorado!
The Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run is for runners, walkers and kids! The four-mile run/walk and kids’ fun run are staged in downtown Fort Collins, with the kids’ race starting off the festivities at approximately 8:45 a.m., followed immediately by the main event at approximately 9:00 a.m. Race start times may be delayed due to the train schedule.
Registration
The ONLY method to register until the day before the race is ONLINE. To register in person and avoid processing fees you may go to packet pick up at the Fort Collins Club from 11 am to 7 pm on Wednesday November 23, 2016 and pay by cash or check. You can also register race morning at The Mainline restaurant, 120 S. College Ave in downtown Fort Collins. Entry fees increase on race day!
The Run Benefits RamStrength
For the Second year the Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day run has partnered with RamStrength, which "supports local cancer survivors by providing financial assistance for basic needs, scholarships, programs, and services”.
Course Route
The starting line is on College Avenue, just north of the College/Mountain Avenue intersection. Participants head south on College, turn west on Mulberry Street, north on South Bryan (through City Park), east on historic Mountain Avenue, and finish back on College Avenue at Oak Street Plaza.
Gobble Gobble Kids’ Run
There is no entry fee for the Gobble Gobble Kids' Fun Run and all participants will receive a finisher’s ribbon and prize. The Gobble Gobble starts at approximately 8:45 a.m., prior to the main event. Please have your Gobble Gobble participants meet by the Silver Grill banner hanging in Oak Street Plaza at 8:45 a.m. The distance of the Gobble Gobble is approximately 1/3 mile, or four city blocks. The fun run is sponsored by the Silver Grill.
