It's great to hear when a company rewards its employees for hard work. One company has done exactly that, to the tune of a $100,000 bonus, for every employee, from the janitor to the CEO. According to Fox 26 in Houston, Hilcorp, set a goal for its 1,381 employees. If they hit that goal, each and every employee would receive a $100,000 bonus, and this Christmas, they are paying up. Hilcorp is one of the largest privately held oil and natural gas companies in the United States. They have been recognized by Fortune for the third year in a row, as one of the best 100 companies to work for... and yes, they are hiring.

The goal that was set by Hilcorp, was to double the companies size in five years. If this goal was met, the CEO of the company promised to give everyone a $100,000 bonus, and he's keeping his word. However, this isn't the first time Hilcorp has dished out a big bonus for results. This was the second time they've had to pay out on their request to double the companies size in five years. They first time they matched this goal, they offered every employee a $50,000 car, or $30,000 cash.

Some people are using the lump sum to retire early, go on vacation, home improvements, invest it, or put it away for a rainy day. I'm assuming they have some solid employee retention rates, and a list a mile long of people that want to work for them.
