A lot of town across America have a week or two where the restaurants offer big discounts on meals during the dead of winter, or slower tourism times.

In Denver, it's 'Denver Restaurant Week'. In the mountains, many will do it during 'mud season' or the time between ski season and summer.

In Fort Collins, we call it Great Plates, and it's excellent. Dining in Old Town is a joy year round. Discount the prices, pick a restaurant you may not have tried and add in the fact that proceeds go to benefit the Food Bank For Larimer County and we've got a winner.

Great Plates in Fort Collins runs March 1-14, 2015. There are over 30 participating restaurants. Dinner specials will run $25.00 and some breakfast dishes will be $2.50.

Over thirty (30+) downtown restaurants will offer amazing evening dining specials from March 1-14, 2015! Each restaurant will be offering their own unique dinner specials for $25.00 or breakfast specials for $2.50 to show off their specialties and favorite ingredients. It could be dinner for four or it could be a gourmet treat for one, view our menu to learn more!

Please do not forget to donate during Great Plates! These amazing prices DO NOT include a contribution to the Food Bank for Larimer County. Any extra donation helps and only $0.25 provides a meal for a member in our community. A $10 donation provides 40 meals!
