Saturday, January 9

8:30 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the 1200 block of Wilshire Avenue on a report of a renter’s landlord coming over to remove mold, but not allowing the renter to remove their furniture first. The caller worried mold could fall on the furniture and hurt the caller’s child.

11:30 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the Fairfield Inn, 2401 29th St., on a report of a juvenile male in a hotel room with an adult male. The caller — the boy’s mother — said she was heading to the hotel and police officers better be there or call the coroner. Soon after that, another person called in a report of a woman walking around the Fairfield Inn with a Taser. The hotel locked her out.

2:30 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 100 block of 24th Avenue on a report of a naked male under the caller’s granddaughter’s bed. A translator said it appeared to be the result of a consensual relationship between two teenagers.

7:45 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 800 block of 27th Avenue on a report of ruined flowers.

11:45 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 35th Avenue and U.S. 34 Bypass on a report of a man in a silver SUV sleeping at a stoplight.

Sunday, January 10

1:15 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the intersection of 18th Street and 6th Avenue on a report of a man with a flashlight, running into the street in front of cars and trying to get them to stop.

9:45 a.m.: Greeley police were called about a bird stuck in a chimney on the 1800 block of 26th Avenue. The caller was advised that police don’t respond to wildlife calls and was then given suggestions on how to get the bird out of the fireplace.

Monday, January 11

Noon: Greeley police responded to the Family Funplex, 1501 65th Ave., on a report of boys harassing other boys at the pool and in the locker room.

Tuesday, January 12

1:30 p.m.: Greeley police responded to Burger King, 2435 35th Ave., on a report of a missing sister the caller thought would be killed if he called the cops. The caller said he thought he was being watched. He said he thought his sister was being held against her will because of information he got on Facebook stating his sister was on drugs and that she “doesn’t want us to see her.”

4 p.m.: Greeley police responded to Lincoln Park Library, 919 7th St., on a report of a woman who didn’t follow the rules and told the security guard he had no authority.

7 p.m.: Greeley police responded to Lincoln Park Library, 919 7th St., on a report of a 12-year-old boy smoking a cigarette and being suspicious.

9 p.m.: Greeley police received a report of a man’s daughter who hadn’t slept for five days on the 2400 block of 15th Avenue.

Wednesday, January 13

8:45 a.m. Greeley police responded to the 1900 block of 6th Street on a report of a neighbor who keeps letting their dog out front to defecate on the sidewalk. The caller said it makes going down the sidewalk like walking through a minefield.

Friday, January 15

4 p.m.: Greeley police responded to Country Inn and Suites, 2501 29th St., on a report of an animal heart found in the parking lot.

7:30 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 2000 block of Buckeye Avenue of a report of the caller’s son’s ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend driving around the neighborhood.
