Based on the turnout at last month's Hogwarts Halloween in Fort Collins, one thing's for sure — Northern Colorado loves Harry Potter. And good news for all you witches and wizards, you'll have the chance to put your cloaks and robes on one more time this year, at the Harry Potter-themed Yule Ball! Pretend to be at Platform 9 3/4 once again, and this time, hop aboard the Hogwarts Express to the Longmont Museum on December 30, for a night of magic. All ages are welcome to attend the Yule Ball, which goes from 6 to 8 p.m., and includes a feast, dancing, and lessons in the magical arts. Broom parking will be provided and dress robes are encouraged, but not required. Tickets are $15 for guests ages 4 and up, and admission is free for children 3-years and under, however staff asks that you still register them prior to the event.

The Yule Ball is a collaboration between Grey Havens Group, Inc., The Longmont Museum, and the Department of International Magical Cooperation. Grey Havens Group is a non-profit in Longmont that promotes creative and critical thinking through literature and popular culture. In October, they hosted a Hogwarts Alumni party, so when it comes to Harry Potter-themed events, they definitely know what they're doing.
