Horse & Dragon Brewing Company Encourages You to ‘Unzip’

A lot of people (including myself) have thought that as long as you throw an aluminum can into the recycling bin, you're doing your job. However, Horse & Dragon Brewing Company wants you to take that one step further.

Yesterday, the brewing company posted a video of the owners, Carol and Tim Cochran taking off the plastic sleeve of their cans, encouraging beer drinkers in Northern Colorado to 'unzip' their cans along with them.

According to their Facebook post, plastic sleeves on aluminum cans and bottles cause issues for recycling facilities, and in order to recycle efficiently, it's best to peel off that outer layer of plastic.
