A Johnstown couple couple be facing felony charges after their daughter took pot brownies to school according to the Greeley Tribune. The daughter brought the brownies to school and smelled of marijuana. The incident prompted people who knew the daughter asked officers to check up on her.

Law enforcement did just that and ended up arresting Sarabeth Wingate and Grergory Deschner on suspicion of unlawful cultivation of marijuana and unlawful extraction of marijuana concentrate. According to reports, officers went to the home in Johnstown and could smell the marijuana from the inside of the home. Wingate stated that she had a license to grow up to 24 plants and when officers searched the home, they found 180 plants, nearly five pounds of dried marijuana and a butane hash oil blasting tube. Deschner admitted to extracting hash oil at the home's backyard about a week and a half prior to the arrest.The couple was arrested and booked into the Weld County Jail. Prosecutors have until Friday at 3:30 p.m. to decide if they will file charges against the couple.
