According to the Coloradoan, a new winery is coming to downtown Windsor and it could be open as soon as mid-February.

Forgotten Roots, which will be locally owned and produced, will be located at 624 Main Street in a renovated 120 year old home. According to the article, they plan on producing "super-micro batches" of fruit and vegetable wines.

They also plan to produce mead, which many people know as Honey Wine, using the local bees from the owners.

Future plans include featuring food trucks, hosting events, and growing a vineyard for berries and fruit trees. All of it will be encapsulated on a 5600 square foot space.

Once Forgotten Roots opens, it will be the tenth winery located in Northern Colorado.
