Loveland’s Valentine Program Launches
Show your love this Valentine’s Day with a Valentine card and special message from America’s Sweetheart City, Loveland, Colorado!Today the Loveland Chamber of Commerce unveiled the 2016 official Loveland Valentine card and cachet. It is the 70th annual valentine re-mailing program, in addition the chamber announced the 2016 official Loveland Valentine beer and coffee.
The cachet verse was written by Dixie Daly and includes an image of Dan Cupid with the following message:
The Sweetheart City is the land of love
From the mountains to the lakes and up above
Sending you a Loveland Valentine sealed with a kiss
Letting you know you’re not to be missed.
To get this special cachet message, send your pre-addressed, pre-stamped Valentine in an enclosed, larger 1st Class envelope to:

Once received, valentines will be removed from the larger envelope and will be stamped with the special Loveland cachet stamp and postmark before being re-mailed to its intended recipient.
All foreign mail must be received in Loveland by Feb. 2, all U.S. mail must be received by Feb. 8, and all Colorado mail must be received by Feb. 10 to ensure delivery by Valentine’s Day. Colorado residents can drop off their valentines at any local King Soopers or City Market stores by Feb. 4. Participants are encouraged to send their valentines to Loveland as soon as possible.
Now to the beer.
The Loveland Chamber of Commerce partners with Grimm Brothers Brewhouse to produce the official Loveland valentine beer. The 2016 valentine beer, The Bleeding Heart is a delicious s’more porter. To commemorate this event, bottles and draft will go on sale Feb. 1 and will be available only in Loveland. Be the first to sample the s’more porter in Grimm Brothers taproom on Feb. 1 during the release party with special VIP tasting for chamber members.
