Lovesick Expo 2016: For the Nontraditional Bride
Have you gotten recently engaged? Are you dreading the wedding planning process? I totally feel you. Pinterest has been sucking my time away and I don't even quite know where or how to start planning. Thanks to Offbeat Bride, I now have a great place to start. Lovesick Expo 2016 is coming to Denver on February 21st.
I've never been one for traditional anything so finding this wedding show was a dream. First. They have beer. I was actually sold with that fact alone. But since we are in our 30s and are paying for the wedding ourselves I also wanted to find out some more cost effective venues and wedding services in our area. I've got tattoos so finding a dress to show them off again was another important thing for me. And probably the thing that was most important to us was finding a venue that was accepting....of having our dog walk down the aisle. It can get overwhelming looking at Pinterest. You can choose a theme but how do you narrow down everything that is possible within that theme? Whether you want a Superhero Theme, Bohemian, Star Wars, or take take your pick, I promise you OffBeat Bride will help direct you.
As my friends were getting engaged pretty much all of their rings looked like this:
And while that is a GORGEOUS ring, I knew that type of ring just wasn't me. I play sports I don't want it getting caught on anything. Mine looks more like this:
With that said. I have found Offbeat Bride so helpful and it creates a bit of camaraderie between couples in letting you know that your wedding day, is exactly that, Yours. For the traditional or nontraditional brides this site will also help you write your vows, find vendors, even gives you advice on how to word your invitation if you don't want kids at your wedding.
