When Peyton was conducting his post game interview, he listed off his to-do items, "To kiss his wife and kids, and drink a lot of Budweiser." Many people thought it was a classless move by a future Hall of Famer to make a quick buck.

He did it again when he was on the podium, with the Lombardi trophy in his hand.

But according to Lisa Weser, head of Marketing communications at Anheuser-Busch, they were just as surprised to hear the plug as anyone else.

According to Apex MG Analytics, Manning's plug was worth about $1.6 million to Budweiser.
This isn't the first time Peyton has tossed out a plug for Budweiser, or for some of their other products like Bud Light. However, his mentions may still be for monetary gain. According to
Market Watch, Manning has an ownership stake in two Louisiana Anheuser-Busch distributors. So at the end of the day, it's still all about the money.
