Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil is serving a 15-day sentence in Las Vegas for drunk driving. Before he turned himself in, he explained that he thought he was made an example of because of his status and his last drunk driving arrest in 1984, the one that that killed Hanoi Rocks drummer Razzle Dingley. "That kind of factored into it. But I'm going to do it, do my time and put it behind me and move on with my life." Neil explained.

Neil's girlfriend, KSNV-TV Las Vegas entertainment reporter Alicia Jacobs expressed her concern not for Neil being locked up, but the "not so optimal conditions." She also said that he is very tired because of the two jobs he is performing while doing his time. Other than that, Jacobs said she is "very proud of him and misses him tons!"

Neil, whose sentence is scheduled to end March 1st, will follow that up with 15 days of house arrest.
