One Man Dead – One Man Arrested in Greeley Shooting

Police in Greeley are investigating a shooting over the weekend that left one man dead. On Saturday night Socorro Balderrama was shot in the head in his home in the 2400 block of Apple Avenue in Greeley.

According to the Greeley Tribune, Police arrested 32-year-old Cesar Francisco Balderrama of Greeley in connection with the killing.The relationship between the two men is unclear.

Officers who went to the scene entered the home through an open door and found Balderrama in the basement with a head wound. Paramedics were called, but Balderrama died at 7:24 p.m.

So far no charges have been filed in the case.
