An Eaton woman has been identified as the sole victim of a collision between an SUV and a train early Tuesday evening in northeast Eaton.

18-year-old Kennedi Jane Ingram, who is a senior at Eaton High School, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation by the Eaton Police Department and transportation authorities. A final manner and cause of death will be released after the autopsy report.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Ingram family and all of the students and teachers at Eaton High School.

One person was killed in Eaton Tuesday night after a train struck an automobile. According to the Greeley Tribune, authorities responded to a report of a crash about 6 p.m. Tuesday at 5th Street and Oak Avenue in Eaton.

Eaton Police found the body of a deceased adult female in a Ford SUV. They determined the SUV was heading west on 5th Street when it was hit by a southbound train.

The crash is still under investigation, and the identity of the victim has not been released. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of everyone involved.
