If Manning does not confirm that he is going to call it a career by then, the very next day, which is the first day of league's new year, his salary of $19 million for the 2016 season will become guaranteed. If Manning decides to play for another year, it would be the last year in his 5 year contract for the Denver Broncos that he signed in March of 2012.
