With all the different stories we hear of people not happy with how the Police act, here is one that will warm your heart.

As KDVR reported, a Police Officer in Michigan took it upon himself to ensure the safety of a child.

His name is Ben Hall and he did something a mother doing her best to make it, surely will never forget.

He pulled the woman over for a traffic violation, and after he approached her vehicle, he noticed there was a child in the back seat, strapped in with a seat belt, not a car seat.

The woman explained that she had fallen on hard times, and could not afford one.

Now, at this point you may start thinking that maybe she should have done this, or that. Don't.

This is meant to be a story of a good deed done by a peace officer that went above and beyond the call of duty.

The officer realizing the situation, decided that instead of giving the young mother a traffic ticket, he had her pull into a Wal-Mart parking lot, where he went inside and purchased a car seat to keep her daughter safe in.

In light of the recent shooting in Fort Collins, thank you to all of our Police Officers that put that life on the line in the line of duty everyday to keep others safe. If you missed the story on the shooting, you can click below to find out more.
