Longmont Police Department

Thirty-four year old Rita Gutierrez-Garcia was last seen by friends near a downtown Longmont bar parking lot in the 300 block of Coffman Street around 2:30 a.m. on March 18, 2018. Rita was reportedly on the phone and had told her friends that she would catch a ride home with someone else, rather than walking with them to their vehicle. She has not had any contact with friends or family since, and her phone has been turned off. Her family says this is extremely unusual for her and are concerned for her safety and welfare. Rita was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with black leggings at the time she went missing. She is 5'7" height, 140 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes.

A press conference was held on Thursday afternoon at the Longmont Police Department, with both Rita's mom and sister in attendance, pleading for the public's help in finding their family member. Authorities believe there were witnesses who were also in the parking lot at the same time, and they urge them to come forward. Police are currently looking for clues through Rita's Snapchat, as she was an avid user, and are also trying to get a hold of her phone records. If anyone has information about Rita, her associates or possible whereabouts, or disappearance, please contact the Longmont Police Department immediately at (303) 651-8501.
