It's been two decades since the Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award -winning production of Rent first hit Broadway, and now this vibrant and timeless story is returning to stages across the country for the 20th anniversary tour — making a stop in Fort Collins along the way.

Set in the gritty East Village of New York, Rent takes audience members along during an unforgettable year in the life of seven individuals, all trying to follow their dreams, while each facing their own obstacles and daily life struggles, including AIDS, poverty, and strained relationships. An inspiring musical with a powerful message, Rent is all about having hope, conquering fears, finding true friendship and happiness, and reminding us to always measure our lives in love.

Rent 20th Anniversary Tour will be at the Lincoln Center December 1-3, 2016. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. nightly, with an additional matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online or by visiting the Lincoln Center Box Office at 417 West Magnolia Street.
