Restaurant Comes Out with New Mountain Dew Chicken Wing Sauce

Mountain Dew is making its saucy debut at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Made from Mountain Dew, ginger, soy sauce, lemongrass, and red peppers, the carbonated condiment hit Buffalo Wild Wings locations Monday for a limited time.

According to taste testers from the New York Daily News, the Mountain Dew "gives it a thick sweetness like those candied fake fruit slices," which are just "too sweet." They say there's a bit of spiciness, but more so of the artificial-tasting variety.

Another taste tester says the Mountain Dew wing sauce tastes like "watered down soy-based Asian sauce."

Buffalo Wild Wings is selling a small order of the soda pop wings for a standard price of $10.79, and customers can choose to have the sauce directly on the wings or on the side.
