In the latest edition of what seems to be quickly morphing into a pitch for his own sitcom with the possible title ‘Steven Adler Says,’ the lovable yet loose-lipped former Guns N’ Roses drummer is at it again. Last week, in an interview with Loudwire, Adler called the current lineup of Guns N’ Roses “hacks,” soon after, he apologized, saying that his emotions sometimes get the best of him, and hey, who could blame him.

Now Adler is clarifying even further…you see, he didn’t mean to call them “hacks,” he meant to call them “scabs.” As Adler explained to Artisan News, he’s not talking about the kind you find on your knees, he’s talking about the ones that replace workers on strike, or in this case, him.

Adler divulged, “Big factories, when the main workers would go on strike, the factory would get people off the street and they would call them scabs.”  He went on, further explain his comments, saying, “I wouldn’t say they can’t play. I would just say more the main people are on strike, and this is what Axl’s got going. Of course they’re great players, or they wouldn’t be playing with Axl.”

As the whole world is clued in on by now, Guns N’ Roses are set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14 and Adler has already expressed his willingness to perform with his former bandmates. His former bandmates however, have not returned the favor. In fact, Axl Rose hasn’t even R.S.V.P.’d ,leaving fans wondering if he’ll even show up for the honor.

Steven Adler recently announced the lineup of his new band — aptly named Adler — with Jacob Bunton on vocals and Lonny Paul on guitar. The three are currently recording their debut disc that will feature guest appearances from former GN”R axe-slinger Slash. Stay tuned for our full interview with Steven Adler!
