Two men have been arrested for a fire that burned through several power lines in Longmont and left much of the city without power.

According to 7News, 18-year-old August Adams and 22-year-old Robert Fitzpatrick were charged with second degree arson and are being held at the Boulder County Jail.

The fire was started in some railroad ties near the Longmont's waste water plant near 1st Avenue and Martin Street. No injuries were reported.
