Sadly, the loss of life continues including one of our own from right here in Colorado. Since last Monday’s post, we have brought home six (6) more soldiers with no end in sight. The continuation of this war, at this point, serves no purpose to the citizens of the United States who and the ones footing the bill in more ways than one!

There is no doubt the United States Army has suffered greatly the last couple months taking more casualties than any other branch of the service as four (4) more have paid the ultimate price since last Monday’s post. If I had the money for a flag pole my flag would fly lighted at half staff 24/7/365 until all our soldiers were home; they keep dying every week for someone else's freedom and I think enough is enough.

The Laramie community was shaken when we lost one of our own. Capt. Bruce Hays was killed in action on Sept. 17, 2008. Before he left for war, he bought a 1959 Chevrolet Apache pickup truck for his wife, and promised to restore it.
