They might be rolling out their new concert film with all the pomp and circumstance of a full-fledged studio album, but that doesn't mean the surviving members of Led Zeppelin are making any plans for future projects.

A second Led Zeppelin clue was dropped Sunday morning (Sept. 9) when the band's Facebook page posted the word "Four" in the band's familiar script, thus leading to speculation that a countdown was in progress after the previous "Five" posting.

Throughout his career, rock legend Jimmy Page has never been much for publicity. However, journalist Brad Tolinski has been fortunate enough to interview the guitar god many times over the past 20 years and has compiled those chats into a new book, ‘Light & Shade: Conversations with Jimmy Page.’

Led Zeppelin boasts one of the most impressive — and successful — discographies of the rock era. But the songs that made it to their albums don’t necessarily tell the whole story, as evidenced by a feature in a recent issue of Classic Rock Magazine that traces the evolution of Jimmy Page‘s ‘Swan Song,’ which never appeared on a Zeppelin record — but came awfully close.

It’s one of the most recognizable album covers of the ’70s. Led Zeppelin‘s ‘Houses of the Holy’ features a group of naked youngsters roaming a stone-laden earth.

In September 2009 a handful of famous British rock musicians, including Robert Plant, performed a concert at London’s O2 Arena as a benefit for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Foundation. A DVD of highlights of the show, which was called “Rockwell,” will be released on June 19 by MVD.

The 2007 Led Zeppelin reunion at London’s O2 Arena was part of an effort to raise money for the Ahmet Ertegun Eduction Fund. The AP reported yesterday that the total raised by the band and Ertegun’s widow after the show amounted to a $41 million donation to Oxford University.

Ronnie Wood has revealed another historical rock jewel during his show on Absolute Radio U.K. The Rolling Stones guitarist says he could have been a part of Led Zeppelin.

A digital artist from Ithaca Audio has taken clips from Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Phil Collins and 11 other artists and mashed them into a new song called ‘Walking In Your Mind‘ featuring scenes from last year’s hit film ‘Inception’ and other visual sources. An orchestral version of the 1975 Led Zeppelin classic ‘Kashmir’ recorded by the the all-girl Australian/British string quartet Bond is featured in a new trailer for ‘John Carter,’ a science fiction film based on author Edgar Rice Burroughs’ 11-volume ‘Barsoom’ series that’s due to hit theaters next year.
