The Broncos Say Goodbye to Demaryius Thomas

As the NFL's trade deadline approached on Tuesday, teams had to have all trades completed by 2 p.m., and the Denver Broncos made a pretty major, last minute move.

Rumors surrounding wide receiver, Demaryius Thomas, have been swirling for the past week, and following Sunday's loss Chiefs, the team decided to say goodbye to their longest-tenured player. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Broncos traded Thomas and a seventh-round pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for a fourth-round pick. During his time in Denver, Thomas was a key part of the team, playing for nine seasons in 125 regular season games, and had many other accomplishments, including five pro-bowl appearances. The Texans recently lost their own wide receiver due to injury, so Thomas would look to fill that role. The move will give Denver's Courtland Sutton the opportunity for more play-time.

Ironically, Thomas will be back in Denver this Sunday, as the Texans take on the Broncos.
