Beer enthusiasts from all over Colorado came out to Washington Park over the weekend (May 2) to enjoy music, food and brews from around the country. The line to get into Washington Park stretched around the block before the gates were opened, filled with men and women eager to sample some of the best craft beers from Colorado and across the country at America on Tap, presented by Fort Collins Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram. With over 50 breweries on site, pouring over 100 different brews, from IPA's to stouts, even some scattered showers couldn't stop the crowed from enjoying the day. From the first pour to the last, everyone on hand had the opportunity to try some familiar favorites, and some special brews and regional brands rarely available in the area. It was great hearing the different conversations of those in attendance, discussing their particular tastes and thoughts on such a huge selection.

Some of my personal favorites, from breweries I have never had before, included Weldwerks, Goose Island, Alaskan, SKA and Prost. But of course I also had to partake is some of my personal favorites that were on hand, like the Grimm Brothers, Pateros Creek, Odell's, New Belgium and Breckenridge.
