Poudre Fire Authority crews arrived at 424 N. Roosevelt Ave., between Cherry and Elm streets, to find a fire burning on the second floor of the house.

The 9-1-1 call to dispatch came in at 7:52 a.m. By 8:11 a.m., firefighters had the fire under control, meaning 100 percent knocked down.

There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Poudre Fire Authority’s Customer Assistance Response Team, better known as CART, responded to the fire to assist the displaced students. A CART representative worked with Red Cross to provide the students hotel vouchers, connected the students to a Colorado State University student case manager, and connected the landlord with a restoration company.
