The annual Lyrid meteor shower will be peaking this weekend and it might be a great time to do some stargazing! Up to 18 as many as 18 meteors per hour might be able to be seen during the peak of this meteor shower this weekend.

Saturday night into Sunday morning will be the peak time for you to catch a glimpse of the Lyrid meteor shower. Viewing times should be best right before sunrise and after the moon sets.
