The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred sometime between midnight and 5:00 a.m., Tuesday morning in the  Liberty Ranch subdivision in the Town of Mead.

Approximately 20 vehicles were broken into and numerous items were taken. The most frequent types of personal items stolen include wallets; purses, car stereos, driver's license, computer laptops, cell phones, gym bags and tools. This incident might be related to a series of vehicle trespasses that occurred on the 26th of September in the same subdivision.
